Lake Mead

Lake Mead is the largest reservoir in the United States, formed by water impounded by the Hoover Dam. Lake Mead extends approximately 112 miles behind the dam, holding 28,500,000 acre feet of water, with an estimated 55 miles of shoreline, and a reported depth of 500' feet at its deepest point.

This website is simply made to provide interesting information and facts about Lake Mead. I will be adding more features and articles to the site periodically, whenever I have time. Please check back often!
